Claudia Cruz
Salon Owner, Hair Stylist, Hair Extension Specialist
Claudia has been working in the beauty industry for since the age of 17, she just knew this is what she was meant to do. She started her cosmetology training while in high school and graduated with her license in 1997. Motivated by her love of the beauty industry she decided to open Elegant Image Salon in 2003. Claudia is certified in many different fields including Thermafuse F450 Treatment, Lasio, Brocato Smoothing Treatment, and Great Lengths hair extensions. She is also certified as a credited Brocato color educator. On top of her many achievements she strives to provide our guests with a high quality, top of the line service and experience in our salon. Claudia loves her clients and accredits them for constantly encouraging and supporting her career.
Crystal
Hair Stylist
Crystal has had a passion for the hair and beauty industry for most of her life as a second- generation hairdresser. She joined Elegant Image Salon in May 2008. Crystal has mastered a wide range of hair techniques. Her specialty and passion however lies in dry cutting, cutting edge color techniques, highlighting, special occasion formal hair styling and corrective coloring. Crystal has attended many advanced education classes to stay on the fore front of her field. Some of these classes include an advanced cutting class with Sam Brocato in New York City at the Brocato Academy. She is certified in La Brasiliana, Magic Sleek, Brocato Curl Interrupted, and Thermafuse F450 smoothing treatments. Crystal places high value on listening to her clients needs, wants, and keeping their hair at its best integrity.
Frederika
Hair Stylist
Let us introduce to you Frederika aka Freddie. She has always had a passion for the hair industry. Not only to make people look fabulous but to make people feel fabulous. Education is very important to her and Frederika thrives on new, exciting and innovating challenges. She has many advanced educational certifications some of which include, Peter Coppola and Thermafuse F450 smoothing treatments, Graham Webb Academy for precision cutting, advanced color education at Goldwell Academy, Redken Exchange Program, Paul Mitchell Academy, and Schwartzkopf Professional. Frederika is not only a talented artist, she is a great listener! She is aware and sensitive to people's concerns and is able to provide professional solutions all while keeping the integrity and health of the hair. Her goal is to make your time with her a pleasant and relaxing experience.
Amy Lynn Rollis
Salon Manager, Hair Extension Specialist, Hair Stylist
Amy has had a passion for the beauty industry ever since she was a little girl. She quotes, "I just love making people feel good about themselves, everyone should feel beautiful inside and out!" Amy graduated from Capri Institute in 2004 and since then she has taken every opportunity possible to further her skills in this trade. With many different certifications and advanced training classes, some of which were taken at The Redken Exchange School in NYC, she believes it is important to stay on top of new trends. This industry is always changing and there is always something new to learn. Her passion lies not only in management but in hair extension services and all areas of color including color correction and color melding. Amy has always had a drive for organization and management. With her outgoing bubbly personality, she has always had that take charge attitude. She has worked in the salon industry for 20 years now and management field for 16 years. Amy joined our team here at Elegant Image Salon in November 2015.
Phyllis
Hair Stylist
Phyllis is an experienced and talented artist in the world of cosmetology with over 25 years of experience. She prides herself on connecting with her clients on a personal level and uses her creativity to help her clients feel their very best. Phyllis is certified in many different smoothing treatments including Peter Coppola, Sweet Hair Professional, Thermafuse F450, Lasio, and Brazilian Blowout. That is only some of her many certifications. She also has advanced color certifications including training at the Redken Exchange Academy in NYC.
Jayleen
Special Occasion Makeup Artist, Hair Stylist, Eyelash Tech
Jayleen is our rising star but she is anything but new. Beauty runs in her blood! She is not only a fast learner, she is adamant about taking as many advanced classes as possible to enhance her craft. She is known for making our brides feel flawless on their special day. On top of hair and special occasion/ bridal makeup, she is an amazing lash extension technician. Her work speaks for itself. Graduated from Innovate Salon Academy in 2017.
Diana
Hair Stylist
Diana is a lived-in color and blonding specialist with over five years experience and a serious love for creating soft, beautifully blended results. From balayage to highlights, she's all about customized color that enhances your natural beauty and fits seamlessly into your lifestyle.
Known for her calm, friendly vibe and attention to detail, Diana takes the time to truly listen to her clients. She believes great hair starts with trust, honesty, and a thoughtful approach-so you'll always feel comfortable, heard, and confident in her chair.
Diana's favorite part of her job is seeing how confident her clients feel after their service (that post-appointment glow never gets old). She prides herself on creating healthy, low maintenance looks you'll love long after you leave the salon.
When she's not behind the chair, Diana enjoys creating content, spending time with family and friends, reading a good book, and sipping on a white chocolate mocha.
Fun fact: if she weren't doing hair, she'd be a teacher-which explains her patient nature and genuine care for every client she works with.
